Seashore’s outdoor academic early childhood program combines early childhood education with a focus on outdoor learning experiences. We provide a unique approach to early childhood education by utilizing our outdoor environments as the primary learning space.
The main philosophy behind our outdoor academic early childhood program is to foster children’s development and learning through nature-based experiences. Seashore children are engaged in hands-on exploration, discovery, and play in natural settings.

Nature-based Learning
Our early childhood program emphasizes the importance of nature in a child's education. Science, math, and phonics concepts are taught out of doors.

Outdoor environments offer ample space for physical activity, which is essential for children's holistic development.

Our outdoor academic early childhood program focuses on experiential learning, where children learn through direct interaction with their surroundings.
Social-emotional Development
Seashore's settings provide a rich social environment where children can interact with their peers, develop communication and collaboration skills, and learn to navigate social relationships.
Patriotism
Seashore's patriotic curriculum involves learning the pledge of allegiance, singing patriotic songs, wearing red, white, and blue uniforms, and learning about creating community.
Health and Well-being
Our outdoor academic program encourages an active and healthy lifestyle. Children benefit from fresh air, natural light, and exposure to sunlight, which promotes vitamin D synthesis.

Cooperative Maintenance Fees are based on number of days/week and cover the cost of insurance, lead teachers, administrative support, and facilities.
Seashore’s Early Childhood Education Program is a Cooperative and does not charge tuition.
Parents are assigned volunteer duties on a rotating basis. Parents may opt out of a shift and/or opt to volunteer for additional shifts as desired. All volunteers must be fingerprinted and background checked.
Coop fees are an annual commitment broken into monthly installments.

Classroom Hours: 9:15AM – 1:15PM
Application Fee (Year 2023-2024):
ECE – a one-time non-refundable $145 application fee per student
Enrollment Fee (Year 2023-2024):
ECE – a non-refundable $250 per student
General Supplies Fee (Year 2023-2024):
ECE – $250 supplies fee per student
Daily Drop-In Fridays Fee (Year 2023-2024):
ECE – $85 fee per student
Daily Extended Day Fee (1.5 hours: 1:15 – 2:45 PM) (Year 2023-2024):
ECE – $15 fee per student

2024-25 ECE Enrollment Fee (includes Facilities, Security, Admin, and Insurance Fee):
Total annual is $795 due at enrollment.
Sibling Discount:
5% off coop fees for 2nd child, and 10% off coop fees for 3rd+ child. Discount(s) apply to the least expensive plan(s).
Payment Option:
Plan A - Ten installments: April 1st- January 1st
Plan B - Two installments: 70% June 1st, 30% September 1st
Plan C - Seven installments: June 1st- December 1st
Plan D - Payment in full upon enrollment
Note: There will be a $75 service fee applied per student per academic year for Plans A,B, & C payment plan.
All coop fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, without exceptions.

Seashore’s outdoor early childhood education program may also incorporate elements of traditional indoor classrooms, especially during rainy or hot weather conditions. Seashore’s outdoor academic early childhood program offers a unique and holistic approach to early childhood education, combining academic learning with nature-based experiences to foster children’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
